UI Enhancements to Add Rule Set and Yielding Screens

To improve the user experience, the following changes have been made to the Add Rule Set screen when the Yield By Room Type checkbox is selected:

Rules tab

• The room type code of the selected room types is displayed in the Result column. Previously, the room type name was displayed.

  • When users hover over the room type code, the room type name is displayed.

• The input field is no longer highlighted in red when users enter 0 for the Occupancy percentage and Result percentage or flat rate. The input fields are highlighted in red only when they are left empty.

• The room types are sorted based on the order of the room types displayed in the Prioritize Room Sell Order pop-up screen (Rates à Rate Plans à More à Prioritize Room Sell Oder).

Apply to Tab

The room types are displayed in the Room Types drop-down list in the Apply to tab based on the order of the room types displayed in the Prioritize Room Sell Order pop-up screen (Rates ➜ Rate Plans ➜ More ➜ Prioritize Room Sell Oder).

The following changes have been made to the Yielding screen:

• Users can sort the Rule Set column. When users hover over the rule set name, the description for the rule set is displayed.

• The Room Type column displays the room type code of the selected room types. Previously, the room type name was displayed.

• Two new columns, Start Date and End Date have been added that display the start and end dates for the created rule set. These columns can be sorted.
